Chris Smart trained as a carpet fitter and supplier in Portishead where he lived at the age of 16. Not only did he learn the art of carpet fitting, he also visited the factories where the carpets were made, he attended courses run by flooring manufacturers and has continually updated his skills to keep up with current trends to include wood laminate flooring and real woods.
Married and living in Clevedon with his wife and two children, Chris now has 34 years experience in the trade. He keeps his overheads low by using a mobile showroom. He visits customers in the comfort of their own home, taking samples along with him and providing advice and free, no obligation quotes.
