The Transatlantic Hot Club are an exciting Gypsy band who travel the globe, performing at major festivals in the UK, France, the Caribbean, South America and the USA.
Adrien Chevalier is New York’s premier jazz violinist and is at the forefront of the New York jazz scene. Originally from Provence in the south of France, Adrien met Welsh hero Ben Creighton at an international harp festival on the French Caribbean Island of Martinique. Ben is one of the world’s leading jazz harpists. The Transatlantic Hot Club was born from their mutual love of all things Swing and Gypsy jazz! They are perfectly teamed with multi award-winning double bassist Ashley John Long who plays with such sensitivity and also swings hard and for tonight they are joined by button accordionist, Jeremy Lohier!
They are a totally unique and astonishing trio. The quality of their playing is exceptional, and solos are quite breath-taking with dazzling harp and violin exchanges. Prepare yourselves for a hot, steamy night of swing classics and Django standards with colourful splashes of Latin Bossa Nova!
Adrien Chevalier – violin, Ben Creighton – harp, Ashley John Long – double bass & special guest Jeremy Lohier - accordion
Show 8.00pm. Doors open 7.00pm. Admission £20. No membership required. Clarence House boasts a full bar and free parking.

Fancy doing something creative for a good cause?
Come along to a laid-back painting class with the lovely Tracie Fry, a talented local artist who believes art should be fun – no skills needed, just a willingness to have a go!
This is the first of three feel-good painting sessions, and we’re kicking things off with a stunning sunset scene. Whether you’re a complete beginner or haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years, you’ll be guided step-by-step in a warm and welcoming space.
It’s all in support of the RNLI, so not only will you leave with your own painted masterpiece, you’ll also be helping to support a brilliant charity doing life-saving work.
All materials are provided – just bring yourself (and maybe a friend or two). Expect good vibes, plenty of laughs, and a relaxed couple of hours where you can unwind and get a bit creative.
A glass of bubbles or soft drink of choice will be included.
Keep an eye out for the next two sessions in the series too – each with a different theme, but all with the same chilled-out energy.
Please note this is a Ticketed Event
