🔍 Something odd is coming to Portishead…

Very soon, weird, wonderful and downright bizarre objects will be appearing in shop windows across the High Street and Marina — and we'll need you to find them all!

Spot the Odd Object runs from 25th July to 29th August. Pick up a £5 entry form, hunt down all the odd objects and hand in your completed form for a chance to win a 1st prize of £100, 2nd prize of £50 or 3rd prize of £25 — kindly sponsored by Simon Perks Small Business Coaching (simonperkscoaching.com)!

Every penny goes directly to RNLI Portishead Lifeboat Station, supporting our incredible volunteer crews who are on call 24 hours a day to save lives at sea. 💛

eat:Portishead food festival Autumn Edition Saturday 8 August from 10-4pm all around Portishead Marina, free to attend, family-friendly and accessible to all … Join them for a delicious day out celebrating great local and regional producers most from within a 30 mile radius. The festival is putting on a cracking one-day festival that is low cost for the producers to attend – meaning that money goes straight back into local businesses and their communities; well publicised; good fun; well run and with lots of variety. eat:Festivals is a not-for-profit social enterprise that aims to connect communities with the productive landscape that surrounds them, which is good for local business, food producers and for families.

You can expect to find over 100 food & drink makers including local bakers, farmers market and deli favourites, brewers, orchardists, roasters and Street Food. Free to attend with plenty of entertainment and activities to join in. Choices for the whole family – accessible, inclusive, inspiring. Always with a wide range including gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and alcohol free food and drinks. It’s a free day out and a chance to meet friends whilst discovering something new. If you want to have a bit more elbow room, to get the pick of the produce, we recommend you arrive early!

People who attend find the sessions to be relaxing and fun. It's a great way to meet a small group of like-minded, friendly creatives. Each session is £12 and is pay as you go.
