EASTER TRAIL

Starts: 09:00 On 29 March 2024 | Ends: 17:30 On 14 April 2024

29th March -14th April

There are prizes to be won in the Portishead Easter trail, which runs from 29th March and continues throughout the first two weeks of April, giving everyone a chance to explore our town centre while searching for clues to be in with a chance of winning prizes!

10 Easter related posters will appear in shop windows in businesses in the town’s High Street, Stoke Road and Combe Road.  Participants need to find the posters and write the word displayed on each poster on to an entry form. The clues then need to be put together to form a sentence and all correct entries will be entered in to prize draw.

The Easter trail is organised by Tanya Marriott from SoleLution shoe shop at 62 High Street and supported by Reeds Rains estate agent and www.VisitPortishead.net

Entry forms are available from the shoe shop for a £1 fee, which will go to support vulnerable children in Africa.

Tanya is a keen supporter of the Jolaurabi School in Kenya and has been visiting the school annually with a group of local volunteers for several years, taking and fitting donated pre-worn shoes to hundreds of children. She recently returned from this year’s trip.

Tanya said: “The aim of the Easter trail is to get people out and about in our town centre exploring local businesses, enjoying hours of family fun, while also supporting those less fortunate than ourselves.”

The Easter Trail completed entry forms need to be returned to Solelution by midday on April 15. All correct entries will then be put in to a free draw with numerous prizes being up for grabs. Winners will be notified and will be asked to collect their prizes from the shoe shop.
