Portishead Easter Trail Returns
28 March 2026
An opportunity to win prizes while getting out and about in our town centre
Families in Portishead are being invited to hop into town as the much-loved Easter Trail returns, bringing with it a celebration of community spirit, local business collaboration and plenty of sweet surprises.
Running from 2–19 April, the trail will transform the High Street and Combe Road into a fun, family-friendly adventure. Participants are invited to seek out colourful Easter posters displayed in shop windows in the High Street and Combe Road, solve clues and uncover a mystery sentence for the chance to win chocolate prizes. There will also be a special hidden “golden egg” providing an extra chance to win!
The event is organised by local business owner Tanya Marriott of SoleLution, and is made possible thanks to the support of fellow independent businesses. Reeds Rains has provided the printing required, while long-established family firm F H Halliday & Son has donated Easter egg prizes.
More than just a seasonal activity, the Easter Trail highlights the strength and unity of Portishead’s High Street, encouraging residents and visitors alike to explore and support independent shops. Entry forms will be available from SoleLution for a suggested £1 donation, with all proceeds supporting vulnerable children in Africa - a cause close to Tanya’s heart through her ongoing work with the Jolaurabi School in Kenya.
James Marsh of F H Halliday & Son said the business is “proud to support an event that brings people together and celebrates everything that makes our town special,” reflecting the wider community spirit behind the initiative.
With local businesses uniting to create a vibrant, welcoming experience, the Portishead Easter Trail once again proves that when a community comes together, it can make a meaningful impact.
