Public Amenities

On this page you can find information about public services in Portishead:

Police

The neighbourhood beat team, comprising police officers and police community support officers (PCSOs), operates out of the Avon and Somerset Constabulary Headquarters in Valley Road, Portishead.

Beat surgeries take place around the town, providing you with access to members of your police team, alternatively you can request an appointment by calling them on 101.

The neighbourhood team works closely with council services, key local agencies, volunteers such as Neighbourhood Watch and the community itself to identify the issues and the best solutions that matter most to you. This approach is called Partners and Communities Together (PACT) and regular meetings give residents the chance to meet the team and influence priorities in their neighbourhood.
