Meet Your Councillors

29 January 2026

Portishead Town Council will hold its first councillor drop-in session of 2026 on Friday 30 January, between 3–5pm, at Impero Lounge in Portishead High Street.

The informal sessions offers residents the chance to speak directly with local councillors, raise questions, share ideas and discuss issues affecting the community — no appointment required.

Councillors will be available to talk about a range of topics, including the proposed local devolution of assets and services. This may include the potential transfer of assets such as the Lake Grounds, and services like litter bins and collection and what these changes could mean for future local management.

Residents are also encouraged to share their views on the North Somerset Council Local Plan, which will guide future development, housing, transport and environmental priorities. Updates will also be available on the impact of North Somerset Council’s current financial challenges and their implications for local services.

All residents are welcome.
